Although there are so so so many fitness influencers that have inspired me on my fitness journey, I wanted to share just a few of my favorites! Some of these influencers are more lifestyle based while others are more so on the fitness side of things, regardless I have learned a lot from each of them. I literally spent way too much time trying to put them in order of my top favorite to least favorite, until I decided that it was impossible to choose a top favorite, or even a top 5. Comment below if you also follow any of these fitness or healthy lifestyle influencers!

Savannah Wright (@savwright_)

Sav is a fitness influencer on Instagram and YouTube who just officially became a Gymshark athlete! I feel like her fitness journey is super relatable, as she began her fitness journey while she was in college. I love how she has really made her life based around her passion for fitness. She quit her corporate job to become a full time CPT and athlete, which is absolute goals. Alongside the fitness aspect, she also has many videos that go into depth about topics like nutrition, supplements, fashion, and relationship Q&A’s (did I tear up during her engagement video… yes). She also has an adorable pup who has his own insta page, @bentleyhummel (you won’t be disappointed, I promise)!

Sam Ozkural (@samozkural)

Sam is more of a healthy lifestyle influencer on instagram and YouTube, although fitness is a pretty big component in her lifestyle. Sam is actually one of the first YouTubers that I ever actually liked and continued to watch, because her videos cover such a wide range of topics. From trying the diets of many celebrities, the power of manifestation, tips to lose weight and gain muscle, her ’Amazon made me healthy’ series, and her ‘Oztober’ series that she does every October about healthy habits for the fall, new routines to establish for the fall, fall fashion, and literally everything fall! She also has a super healthy cookbook out called Pretty Earthy, which basically describes her take on nutrition and style!

Becca sills (@beccasills_)

Becca is a Gymshark athlete from the UK and I absolutely love the workouts that she posts on her YouTube and Instagram. Her sense of fashion is literal inspo, both inside and outside of the gym. Other than her bomb workouts, she also posts a bunch of vlogs and ‘what I eat in a day’ videos that contain a lot of really great, and more importantly simple, mostly plant based recipes. If you are just getting started at the gym, I would absolutely recommend her for some workout ideas!

Marisa (@Missfitandnerdy)

Marisa was the very first YouTuber that I ever subscribed to! She is so incredibly knowledgable about health and fitness in general. As you might have picked up by her instagram username, she combines fitness and nutrition with plenty of research behind almost every single health and fitness topic. If you are interested in the science behind exercise and nutrition, she should be your go to. I learned so much from Marisa, including about adaptogens, about macros (she even has her own macro tracker that anyone can download and use for free), and how to make fitness a lifestyle, not just something you do to reach your aesthetic goals.

Natalie Bally (@Nattbfit)

Natalie Bally is also a Gymshark athlete! Her Instagram page is loaded with really great and challenging workouts. What sets Natalie apart from many of the other influencers that I know of is that she is very focused on mindfulness and regulating your mental health, just as much as your physical health. She has really helped normalize checking in with your mental health and has helped so many people, myself included, learn how to recognize what you are experiencing mentally and how important it is to never neglect your mental health.

Makayla Anisa (@Makaylaanisa)

Makayla is such a fun influencer on Instagram and YouTube! Other than workout inspo, if you are looking for new gym apparel to try, go heck her out. She has basically reviewed every single major athletic apparel brand and gives you the low-down on her YouTube. She has this super cute series on her instagram story highlights called ‘daily gym fits’ and so if you post a pic or story with you in your gym fit and and tag her she will probs repost ya!

Kathryn and Kendra (@kk_fit_)

How could I make a list about my favorite fitness influencers and not include Kathryn and Kendra. Likeeee I think we can all agree that they are such powerhouses in the gym and absolute goals. Before I started following them on instagram, I was terribly scared to bulk or lift in general because I was petrified of gaining weight. After seeing their cutting and bulking phases, they motivate me to bulk up and not be afraid of temporarily gaining some fat for the gainz. They are both Gymshark athletes and probably give some of the most honest reviews about Gymshark apparel.

Whitney Simmons (@Whitneyysimmons)

An icon. That is all I have to say. Even if you have never stepped into the gym, go follow Whitney. She is so incredibly positive that even her collab with Gymshark (…goals…) has her staple saying ‘it is a beautiful day to be alive’ on her apparel. She is so positive and motivating, regardless of whether you are a beast in the gym or a newbie!

Libby Christensen (@Libbychristensen)

Libby Christensen is also a Gymshark athlete and her workouts are absolutely killer. She is also one of the realest and most open influencers on this list. She keeps everything completely real and transparent. Her content is so uplifting and motivating, in and outside the world of fitness. If I could get to meet any influencer on this list it would 10/10 be Libby.

Dr. Mona Vand (@monavand)

Dr. Mona Vand is a vegan healthy lifestyle influencer on Instagram and YouTube. When I first became vegan, her videos about nutrition and the benefits of a Whole Foods plant based diet helped me tremendously. Mona used to be a pharmacist before she quit her job to do what she is really passionate about, which is so inspiring. Working and studying as a pharmacist, she obviously knows a thing or two on how to built a healthy lifestyle from beauty, to exercise, to nutrition.

Stay Kind,

~Syd
